World Premiere: The Transient Designer is the first dynamic effect processor which incorporates SPL´s new Differential Envelope Technology (DET™) for level-independent shaping of the dynamic response of any sound in four separate channels. At last it is possible for transients to be accelerated or slowed down and sustain to be prolonged or shortened. All time constants are adaptively optimized realizing maximum musicality.
For example
the attack of a bass drum or a loop can be emphasized to increase the power and the penetration in the mix sustain of a snare or room-sound can be shortened very musically to clean up the mix for more transparency acoustic instruments or electric guitars can be smoothened with lower attack new panorama effects based on dynamic effects can be realized which is especially interesting and groovy for loops
