The JEMStor family of
tape drives combines cutting edge technology with JEMS reputation for
price/performance leadership. Tape drive technology has not changed in
over 10 years, until now. Setting new standards for value, reliability
and performance, the JEMStor VXA33 offers discreet packet format,
variable speed operation, and overscan operation.
The JEMStor AIT-2 desktop and
autoloader tape solutions are ideal your basic back up and distribution
needs. Providing a single cartridge for 50 GB capacity (100 GB with 2:1
compression) in the JEMStor AIT-2 50 single slot desktop and a
4-cartridge magazine for up to 200 GB native capacity (400 GB with 2:1
compression) in the JEMStor AIT-2 200 4 slot autoloader. Both
units offer fast media load and file access with sustained transfer
rates up to 6 MB/s (native). 
The JEMStor DLT
desktop and autoloader tape solutions offer proven scalability for
future storage needs with up to 21.6 GB/hr native backup performance.
The JEMStor DLT 40 holds a single 40 GB cartridge while the JEMStor
DLT 320 has eight cartridge slots for up to 320 GB native capacity.
The 320 also has a six-cartridge removable magazine for bulk loading.
Designed for entry-level
applications with increasing data storage needs, the JEMStor AIT-2
750 tape library brings affoarable, high-performance, dependable AIT
automation technology to backup. The JEMStor 750 accommodates up to two
AIT-2 tape drives and 15 AIT-2 data cartridges and offers the ability to
conduct unattended operations for over 15 hours.
The JEMStor DLT560,
a user-friendly Automated Tape Library System, combines the reliability
of DLT technology with JEMS reputation for price/performance leadership.
JEMStor DLT560 offers blazing backup speeds of 64.8 GBs/hr by
incorporating up to three DLT8000 drive mechanisms in a convenient
deskside tower or 4u rackmount configuration. The JEMStor DLT560 front
door provides easy access to the dual magazines that house 14 tape
cartridges for a total capacity of up to 560 GBs (native spec).
